Covering a Trailer Load
Grabbit and Trailer
Items needed: EZ Grabbits, Bungee/Stretch Cords, a Tarp and a Trailer
Most states require covering a load before transport. Contents blowing out of a truck or trailer is a hazard and is subject to fines. Fortunately, tarping over your cargo can be safely and quickly done. Whether you have a once a year trip to the garbage dump or whether you are a professional trucker running oddly shaped cargo, EZ Grabbits can bring you that extra level of tarp management you never knew you had.

The tarp job below is for a trip to the recycle center.
Trailer Image 1
1) The trailer shown is filled with light weight aluminum conduit for recycling. Windy conditions could easily lift out some of the pieces.
Trailer Image 2
2) The tarp used is twice as big as needed. For a better fit, the tarp is folded in half and placed over the trailer load.
Trailer Image 3
3) As shown, there is no effort to refold the tarp to line up the edges. The EZ Grabbit will readily attach through both layers where the inner layer starts.
Trailer Image 4
4) Attachments along the flanks of the trailer are made in the usual fashion. This attachment is made on the fold side of the tarp. Again, attaching through both layers is effortless.
Trailer Image 5
5) Save time and hassle by not worrying about the angle of attachment. The EZ Grabbit can be attached at most all angles and hold absolutely! Other tarp holders are not nearly as forgiving and can easily detach if not angled properly.

6) Using a bungee cord or rubber tie-down to tie off the EZ Grabbit is ideal. We recommend a 24" length for overall use. For shorter distances, the cord can be centered in the rope loop and both hooks brought to the frame of the trailer.

7) But what about those trailer corners and all the excess tarp? Well, if you've ever wrapped a gift you can handle these corners. Simply wrap the folds of tarp about the corners as you would wrapping a gift.

8) Select an attachment point where you can secure all the folds and place the Dog Bone in the manner shown.

9) With many layers to secure, dress the tarp along the Dog Bone to assist in the Sleeve's reception and slide the Sleeve into place. Take care to make sure your alignment is good before tying off the EZ Grabbit.

10) After verifying the Dog Bone is properly aligned in the Sleeve use a bungee cord to tie off the EZ Grabbit to a convenient location. This is a hold you can trust!
Trailer Image 11
11) The tarp is now firmly secured to the trailer. In this case, the excess tarp at the front of the trailer is not considered a problem. The EZ Grabbits are attached high up on the tarp for best results.

12) The tarp holding job at the rear of the trailer turned out great! No violations or safety problems here.

Whether five or 500 miles you can trust the EZ Grabbit to keep your tarp intact and your cargo safe.

If you are a professional truck driver you'll appreciate knowing the EZ Grabbit easily secures two and even three layers of 18oz. truck tarp. (see image below)

Although the EZ Grabbit is designed for general purpose use, it is also designed for professional duties such as heavy trucking.

Don't be fooled by the claims of other tarp holders you see at the store. If it doesn't say EZ Grabbit it's not worth your money!

17) Truckers, when your grommets and D-rings just aren't in the right place.

Shown here is the EZ Grabbit grappling through three layers of 18oz truck tarp. This is the first tarp holder able to serve the professional needs of truckers!
